Meet Our Team of Pediatric Professionals in Grand Blanc, MI
DR. FAWAZ HADDAD
Dr. Haddad is a board-certified pediatrician who completed his training at Hurley Medical Center. With extensive experience in his field, Dr. Haddad currently holds the associate professor position in pediatrics at Michigan State University School of Medicine. He also serves as a clinical instructor at Hurley Medical Center and Genesys Regional Medical Center Pediatrics, where he holds the position of Vice Chairman.
Dr. Haddad is affiliated with the esteemed Hospitals Hurley, Genesys, and McLaren. Recognized for his exceptional contributions to the community, Dr. Haddad was honored with the Grand Blanc Health Hero award by the Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce in previous years.
In addition to being available to his patients around the clock, Dr. Haddad volunteers his time to provide counseling services to church members and patients. He is happily married to his wife, Dima, and they have been blessed with three children named Alise, Deena, and Fares. Dr. Haddad resides in Grand Blanc, just a short 3-4 minute commute from his office, which he considers his second home.
ERIN SHEA – CPNP
She embarked on her nursing career in 2006 following her completion of the nursing program at Baker College. She honed her nursing skills in adult medical-surgical care at St. John Hospital in Detroit, MI, for two years. However, her true passion had always been to provide care for children. An opportunity arose in April 2008 within the same hospital system, allowing her to transfer to the pediatric unit. In October 2010, she had the privilege of transitioning to pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care, an experience she considers truly remarkable. Being entrusted with caring for children and their families during their most difficult times was an absolute honor for her. Providing solace and comfort during this challenging period is an experience she cherishes indefinitely.
In July 2014, she successfully completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Wayne State University. Throughout her academic journey, she completed her clinical hours at various healthcare facilities, including the Children's Hospital of Michigan, School Based Health and Family Practice, predominantly serving an underserved population in Detroit.
With her ultimate goal of becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, she aspired to work in a healthcare office where she could provide comprehensive care to children throughout all stages of their lives. Thankfully, an opportunity arose to collaborate with Dr. Haddad. From the very beginning, it was evident that Dr. Haddad's philosophy of caring for children and the collaborative approach of the entire staff aligned perfectly with the professional environment she sought as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She felt a deep connection to the community Dr. Haddad serves and greatly admires the relationship he and his staff have cultivated with their patients. Witnessing her patients' growth and development over the past nine years has solidified the significance of this relationship. Erin currently resides locally with her two sons, Nolan (15 years old) and Kellen (11 years old).
ERICA – PRACTICE MANAGER
Erica is the efficient practice manager who plays a key role in the smooth functioning of the office. She has an impressive tenure of over 20 years at Dr. Haddad's office. Moreover, Erica holds an associate's degree in business and is a certified medical assistant, demonstrating her diverse skill set. Erica excels in multitasking and can be found skillfully handling phone calls, attending to patients, and administering vaccines, all while ensuring the seamless operation of our bustling and fast-paced office. Beyond her professional life, Erica cherishes moments with her loved ones by enthusiastically partaking in family vacations to Anna Maria Island and Traverse City. Additionally, she values quality time with her husband, son, and their beloved Frenchie.
CHELSEA – REFERRAL SPECIALIST
Chelsea has been a valuable team member for the past nine years. She has consistently proven herself as the welcoming face and first point of contact for everyone entering our office. Chelsea proudly holds a certification as a medical assistant and is our head receptionist and referral specialist. In her personal time, she enjoys tending to her garden, indulging in her favorite Netflix shows, and cherishing quality moments with her children.
KARLEE – RECEPTIONIST
Karlee is our additional receptionist who will assist you with your child's checkout process and help you schedule future appointments. With a background as a certified medical assistant, Karlee brings four years of experience to our team. She enjoys spending quality moments with her two young sons in her free time.
AMBER – MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Amber is an esteemed team member, serving as our head medical assistant for the past eight years. She obtained her medical assistance certificate from Ross Medical Center, showcasing her dedication to the field. Amber exhibits extensive knowledge and proficiency and is responsible for conducting vital assessments, administering vaccines, and ensuring your child's well-being in the examination room. Outside of work, she cherishes quality time with her family.
