Erin Krogol, P.N.P.

Erin Krogol, C.P.N.P.

She began her nursing career in 2006 after attending Baker College of Nursing. She spent two years developing her nursing skills in adult med surg at St John Hospital in Detroit MI.  Knowing her passion had always been to care for children, an opportunity came about in April, 2008, within the same hospital system on the pediatric unit.  In October 2010, she had one of the most amazing opportunities to transition to pediatric hospice and Palliative Care.  It was an honor to be allowed to care for children and their families in their homes during the most difficult times of their lives. To provide comfort to her patients and families during this most difficult time is an experience that will stay with her for a lifetime.

In July 2014, she completed her MSN at Wayne State University.  During this time she completed her clinical hours at Children's Hospital of Michigan, School Based Health, and Family Practice in a very under-served population in Detroit.

Knowing her ultimate goal as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, would be to work in an office where she could take care of children throughout all stages of their lives, the opportunity to work with Dr. Haddad became available.  It was apparent from the beginning that his philosophy of caring for children and the team approach of all the staff was exactly the environment she would want to begin her career as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She felt attached to the community Dr Haddad serves. She loves the relationship Dr Haddad and his staff have with the patients and she wanted to be a part of that relationship.

She lives locally with her husband of 8 years, Keven and her two boys Nolan who is 6 years and Kellen who is 2 years.

Samantha Warkentien, FNP-BC

Samantha (Sam) Warkentien is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She began her nursing career in 2008 at the University of Michigan Medical Center in the adult and pediatric emergency department where she cared for acute, chronic, and critically ill children and adults. During that time she found she had a knack for working with children and their families, and in 2010 she transitioned to Mott Children’s Hospital with children’s emergency services which provided her with the opportunity to advance her skills as a pediatric emergency nurse. She is also certified in both trauma and emergency pediatric nursing.
In April of 2015 she completed her MSN at Oakland University as a family nurse practitioner. Her clinical experiences included providing services to individuals across the lifespan. These experiences varied from small rural family medicine clinics in the northern portion of the lower peninsula, to specialized areas of medicine such as Beaumont Pediatric Endocrinology, and Regional Cardiology Associates here in Grand Blanc. The majority of her pediatric clinical experience was spent with Dr. Haddad at Grand Blanc Pediatrics.
Sam is honored to be joining the team at Grand Blanc Pediatrics. She was drawn to the practice by Dr. Haddad’s dedication to his community, as well as the excellence and kindness he devotes to his patients and staff.  She looks forward to continuing to develop her skills as a medical provider with Dr. Haddad, his community, and his excellent team.
Sam lives in the Lake Fenton area with her husband Richard and two daughters Sophie and Rosie.
